sch.ools.it was conceived during the summer of 2009 and began to take shape during the autumn of that year with an intention to launch in time for the BETT Show in January 2010.

The main aim of the site is to provide a strong hub of school ICT information aimed at cross-curricular use and at an audience for whom some of the high profile web2.0 tools do not grab their interest.

All of this will be in environment that makes use of ‘best of breed’ social networking tools in order to encourage collaboration and communication, both inside and outside of the classroom.
