Teachers Whether you teach German or Geography, Music or Maths, sch.ools.it will be somewhere to find resources about you subject and meet other teachers in your own specialism.

This site contains links to all of the latest educational ICT information, but the best sources will be you.

If you have something that you would like to contribute then please get in touch so that we can put your work online.
Parents Sometimes as a parent it can be frustrating keeping up with all of the information that you are bombarded with via the media or from letters and newsletters from school.

This site will give you the opportunity to find a single source of school information relevant to parents and carers. and also meet and chat with others in our social forum.

If you have something that you would like to share with other parents then please get in touch so that we can put your work online.
Students Do you have a great site you would like to share with other students, or have you written a fantastic piece that you think will help others? If so then you will be able to use this site to share that knowledge.

We will also put relevant information for students up here, with links to some of the most popular homework and revision sites, combined with top tips.

So if you have something that you would like to share with other students then please get in touch so that we can put your work online.

Training We recognise, as do organisations such as the British Computer Society, Naace and Microsoft, that ICT training provision is patchy at best.

In light of this we will be making a number of online training resources available for free via this site and are also able to offer individual CPD sessions.

If you are local to Norfolk they you may well be able to come along to one of the free ‘digital literacy’ sessions that we will run during 2010.

Home Access Programme One of the most exiting aspects of BETT this year has been the launch of the Home Access programme by Minister of State Vernon Coaker.

Welcome to sch.ools.it -- a site dedicated to all things ICT in education

Unlike some other sites that are focused purely for teachers, this site is aimed at students, parents and communities as well.

We make the following commitments to those who use the site;

  • Access to this website will always be free
  • We will never have any advertising
  • We encourage open discussion about all aspects of ICT in school
  • All user generated content published here released under a Creative Commons Attribution license (http://creativecommons.org/about/licenses) and you are free to use it in any way you like

Please see the 'About us' section for information about how we arrived at creating this site, and what we hope it will bring to ICT use across education.

As we make our way out of the beta and into the 'soft launch' of the site, we have not heavily promoted it so thank you for visiting us and welcome any comments to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
